Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms
By contracting PlataWorks' services, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of services
PlataWorks offers web development services, including but not limited to:
- Website and web application development
- E-commerce development
- Custom software development
- Process automation
- Technology consulting
- Maintenance and support
3. Work process
3.1 Consultation and proposal: The client requests a proposal describing their needs. PlataWorks presents a detailed budget with scope, timeline, and payment conditions.
3.2 Acceptance: Acceptance of the proposal is done through contract signing or written acceptance (email) and payment of the corresponding advance.
3.3 Development: PlataWorks executes the project according to the agreed scope. The client has access to progress and can request adjustments within the defined scope.
3.4 Delivery: Once development is completed and final payment is received, the project is delivered with all corresponding documentation.
4. Payments
4.1 Terms: Payments are established in the contract or accepted proposal. They are generally structured as:
- 50% at project start
- 50% upon completion and delivery
4.2 Payment methods: We accept bank transfer (Argentina), MercadoPago, Wise, and PayPal. Prices may be expressed in USD or ARS as agreed.
4.3 Late payments: Non-payment within agreed terms may result in work suspension until the situation is regularized.
5. Scope and changes
5.1 Defined scope: The work to be performed is limited to what is specified in the accepted proposal. Any additional functionality requires a supplementary proposal.
5.2 Changes: Small design adjustments or minor functionality changes are made at no additional cost if within scope. Significant changes require a new budget.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Transfer: Once full payment is received, PlataWorks transfers to the client all intellectual property rights over the code developed specifically for the project.
6.2 Exceptions: Ownership is not transferred for: (a) reusable code or PlataWorks' own libraries, (b) licensed third-party software, (c) materials provided by the client.
6.3 Portfolio: PlataWorks reserves the right to include the project in its portfolio, unless confidentiality is agreed upon in writing.
7. Warranty
7.1 Period: All our projects include a 3-month warranty from the delivery date.
7.2 Coverage: The warranty covers fixing errors or bugs that prevent operation as agreed upon in the project scope.
7.3 Exclusions: Not covered: requirement changes, problems caused by client modifications, failures in third-party services (hosting, domains), or damage from malware/viruses.
8. Limitation of liability
PlataWorks shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the services. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the project.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties commit to keeping all sensitive information exchanged during the project confidential. This obligation persists after the business relationship ends.
10. Termination
10.1 By the client: The client may terminate the contract at any time. They must pay for work completed up to that point, calculated proportionally.
10.2 By PlataWorks: We may terminate the contract if the client fails to make agreed payments or provides false information. In such case, the client must pay for work completed.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
12. Modifications
PlataWorks reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the website.
